We are planning lots of exciting embroidery classes, exhibitions, merchants mall and all the wonderful and vibrant events of conference with great speakers and the chance to meet up with like-minded friends, while making lots more stitching friends.

The Threads of Connection ANZEG Conference 2026 team, is forging ahead and excited to be preparing to welcome you all to Palmerston North in July next year – from July 4 to 9 – for our wonderful programme of conference, exhibitions and embroidery school.
So much to look forward too!... overseas tutors, exciting new classes from our excellent New Zealand tutors, all the delights of the merchants’ mall, catching up with old friends and making new ones.

The details and conditions of entry for the National Exhibitions can all be found on the Exhibition page so now is the time to start thinking about the titles and start designing. We had such a fantastic variety in Dunedin – our exhibitions team is excited to see what you will all create for Palmerston North’s Square Edge Community Arts Gallery to showcase our beautiful stitched art to the public.

Because Palmerston North is such a central city – it’s always busy over holidays with many events held there so make sure you diarise the dates and make a booking for your accommodation. There is a huge range of options available from hotels to motels and B and B’s plus excellent accommodation out at Massey. Please get in touch if you are interested in this option.
